Kaspersky Lab is one of the fastest growing IT security companies worldwide. Today, it is firmly positioned as one of the world’s top four leading vendors of endpoint security software. Kaspersky Lab is an international group that operates in more than 100 countries worldwide. The company has offices in 29 countries.
Their main product named Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) has won multiple gold awards. Due to its power ordinary users have troubles using it and anti-virus software has to be a no-brainer to use. Kaspersky Lab started a project to redesign GUI of KIS internally. This project failed. Due to company size and hierarchy their internal team struggled with a vision and could not think outside of the box. Our company was contracted to help with this project. Within a short timeframe we created cross-platform brand new GUI concept which got excellent internal reviews. This GUI was fully integrated in KIS 2012 and other products later and used across all family of Kaspersky’s products. Magazine reviews for new GUI were excellent as well as user’s reviews.
